Examples of dresses that do NOT follow Crown's Dress Code:

 This dress is too short. Dress should be below fingertips.

   This slit is too high. Slit should be lower than your fingertips.

This neckline is too low.

   This back is too low. Back should be no lower than mid-back.

 This dress is too tight.

 

Gentlemen:

Collared shirts and slacks should be worn. No jeans, sandals, flip-flops or T-shirts.

Crown Homeschool Community Event - Code of Conduct Agreement

In exchange for participation in the activity organized by Crown Homeschool Community and/or use of the property, facilities, and services of Crown Homeschool, I agree for myself and/or for the members of my family, to the following:

  1. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to respect and follow all instructions or directions given by Crown Homeschool chaperones.
  2. I agree to respect the property and property belongings and will do my best to keep things clean. Acts of vandalism or theft will not be tolerated.
  3. I agree to adhere to the following Dress Code in order to promote a respectful and Godly environment:
  • No clothing that exposes the midriff
  • No strapless, low back or backless dresses
  • No skin-tight clothing, see-through clothing, or plunging neckline
  • Skirts, and dresses need to be an appropriate, modest length
  • No clothing with inappropriate logos, slogans, or pictures
  • Gentlemen should wear slacks and a collared, button-up shirt at minimum 
  1. I agree there is no inappropriate touching of any kind. Simple hand-holding and an arm around the shoulder is acceptable, however full embraces, kissing, making out, and/or lewd gestures will not be tolerated.
  2. I agree that any type of threatening, swearing, trash talk, fighting, bullying and/or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  3. I agree that possessing weapons or possessing or using tobacco/e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, alcohol, or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. 
  4. I agree to remain on the property and within the boundaries designated by the chaperones, for the duration of the event and until the arrival of my parent/guardian.
  5. I understand and agree that any violation of the above agreements will result in parent/guardian notification. I may be asked to leave the event, and depending on the severity, not allowed to participate in future Crown events.

Parents, students and guests are responsible for knowing Crown’s Dress Code before attending the dance. We appreciate your cooperation as we help our children see that dressing modestly is honoring to Christ and a way to show love and consideration to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Please type your name below to indicate your agreement to support Crown Homeschool Community events with cooperation and in the spirit of fun.
